AION 2 classes after the 2026 overhaul
The eight AION 2 classes NC described for the March 2026 update, and the earlier Spiritmaster and Marksman names.
AION 2 launched with eight classes. NC’s March 2026 class update published new Stigma skills under these names: Gladiator, Templar, Assassin, Ranger, Sorcerer, Elementalist, Cleric, and Chanter. Earlier material called the bow class Marksman and the summoner Spiritmaster. If a guide uses those older words, it is talking about the same roles.
Roles
- Gladiator — melee damage and a front line
- Templar — blocking, defense, and party buffs
- Assassin — melee burst and gap closers
- Ranger — bow damage at range
- Sorcerer — burst spells
- Elementalist — summoned spirit and solo-oriented kit (Spiritmaster in older copy)
- Cleric — healing
- Chanter — buffs, support, and damage
How this relates to cheats
A DPS meter is a readout of your own skills. It does not pick a class for you. Combat-bot and macro advertising is generic across these eight kits. NC’s update also added rules around immune effects and new defensive timings, so a rotation that looked legal in 2025 can read differently after a balance patch. Check updates after a class patch before you assume an old note still matches the client.
