AION 2 updates that matter before you launch a third-party build
Korea and Taiwan in 2025, the March 2026 class update, and the October 2026 global PC launch.
AION 2 did not arrive everywhere on the same day. Korea and Taiwan started on 19 November 2025. The March 2026 update reworked classes, added Stigma skills, and introduced Chaotic Abyss faction fights. Global early access started 30 September 2026, and NC’s public launch note is dated 5 October 2026 for Steam PC and PURPLE.
Why patch day matters for cheats
A client update can turn a module off, change a class animation, or change what NCGuard blocks on startup. The sensible order is: read the status for your specific client, then launch. Steam global being up to date does not mean the Taiwan PURPLE client received the same build that hour.
Where to check the game, not the rumors
NC’s newsroom and the regional PURPLE lounge posts are the primary record for sanctions and for content patches. Forum threads and “AION 2 cheats Reddit” posts repeat those notes with less precision. Use them as a lead, then confirm the date on an NC post. Class names after March 2026 are listed in the class guide.
